3 Russian Groups Emerge As Rivals To Topple Battered Putin In 2023

Putin and the Russian invaders are in trouble.

Kyiv Independent on Twitter have reported the following:

ISW: Russian warlord Girkin, Putin’s confidant Prigozhin competing for influence among pro-war politicians. The ISW has assessed that the Russian nationalists are split among 3 groups that pursue different objectives while criticizing the Russian Ministry of Defense. Those include Russian or proxy veterans, nationalists with their own private forces, and Russian military bloggers, as well as war correspondents. Warlord Girkin represents the veteran faction due to his connections with veteran organizations such as the All-Russian Officers Assembly, while Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner group, is a self-proclaimed nationalist with access to a parallel military structure.

Bad news for Putin.

So much in fighting now in Russia as they see the opportunity to topple him within Russia in 2023.
