Look, Chinese are great people of course — but the Chinese Communist government have still refused to flat out condemn the Putin Russian invasion of Ukraine.
And instead side step the question to buy time, all the time.
Simply usually noting that they are impartial, reject the sanctions and want peace talks (even though Ukraine tried many time for peace talks but were rejected).
Furthermore, all the international evidence seems to suggest the invasion from Russia and aggression is set to go to the Hague international criminal court soon.
Now the Chinese side have even gone further, flat out saying:

Seriously though, repeat the line from the above, just to let that sink in again:
‘As the one who started the Ukraine crisis, and the biggest factor fueling it, the US needs to deeply reflect on its erroneous actions of exerting extreme pressure and fanning the flame on the Ukraine issue.’
