Boxing, UFC, soccer and all professional sport has been affected by the war in Ukraine.
In the ongoing war in Ukraine following an invasion from Russia that they said beforehand they would not do.
Then to attack hospitals and civilians.
Things have gotten really out of hand.
Sanctions are the big things being done but when all of this is over, eventually — could sanctions be lifted as a good will peace gesture?
Or will it be a new type of cold war?
Chelsea soccer club and owner Roman Abramovich received sanctions.
That said, the latter has always been well respected in the UK and among soccer fans over the years.
While sanctions for now against him and even athletes might seem harsh they are the only way surely.
When everything is over maybe on a case by case basis could they look at individual cases.
The likes of Abramovich you would think is one of the individuals caught in the crossfire here.
The main thing to be concerned about though is the Ukrainians however living in carnage at the moment.
More swift actions need to be taken to assist them.
