40-Year Old Rigondeaux Reacts To Controversial Scoring Defeat

Widely regarded as the greatest Cuban fighter to ever live, Guillermo ‘El Chacal’ Rigondeaux showed at 40-years of age, that there is plenty of life in the old dog yet in fairness.

He lost a split decision to Filipino John Riel Casimero in Carson last Saturday night.

With that being said, many believe the scoring and decision went the wrong way.

‘Rigo’ said after the fight:

Class act.

No doubt he will be back in action sooner rather than later.

Still a very good operator ahead of his 41st birthday next month.

The lower weight classes in general are on fire in boxing at the moment.
