End Of An Era For Heavyweight Contender and Former World Champion

Boxing is a funny sport at times.

Two fierce competitors can later on in years become friends and work colleagues.

David Haye and Dereck Chisora once shared a boxing ring in London. A fight won inside the distance by Haye but an excellent, excellent heavyweight fight.

The bad blood between the two in later years was demonstronably potent for a while.

Alas, they ended up working together then years later — Haye as Chisora’s manager and sometimes overall fitness and health advisor — with other Haye team members.

Although Chisora might have lost a couple of fights in recent years some results could have gone either way and at 37 he’s a man rejuvenated spiritually, physically and mentally.

He still can be in some very interesting fights in the years ahead.

For now though, it will be without Haye, as the two signaled on social media this week:
