Female boxing champion and now MMA fighter Claressa Shields is probably as brutally honest as it gets in boxing.
Maybe overly so, too honest, but, then again, that’s why boxing fans love her.
Between her and many others, personalities are great in boxing. They always have been. A unique, different sport really. The best sport there is by a mile, in truth.
That’s why it captures the public imagination like it has done throughout human history.
As for Shields, this young lady has a good personality with a unique sense of humor to be fair.
Boxing needs characters and personalities at the end of the day. That’s what the sport needs to grow more.
