Chavez Sr and Camacho Jr Do U-Turn Ahead Of Fight

Tonight’s boxing in Mexico sees the continued unexpected coming about of various activities in boxing at the moment.

Mixed martial arts fighters going to boxing.

Boxing exhibitions involving celebrities.

Retired boxers of years gone by returning.

Where it goes nobody knows.

All of the above is something that looks set to be here at least for a while. Each to their own.

Boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez of Mexico takes on son of boxing legend Hector Camacho, Hector Camacho Jr. tonight in an exhibition.

This week the pair had been seen in a near brawl but as the fight got closer the fact of the matter showed itself.

It’s just show business and entertainment at the end of the day.

The two did a bit of a U-turn and were seen shaking hands and embracing ahead of the fight:

Anderson Silva vs Chavez Jr. however on the same night much more interesting in terms of what could transpire with somewhat real punches being thrown at least.

At least you’d hope so anyway.
