42-year-old Manny Pacquiao flouts conventional boxing logic

God-fearing Manny ‘PacMan’ Pacquiao is not your ordinary boxer or human being.

Or run of the mill world champion boxer, either.

You’re dealing with a different kind of individual here.

Without question one of boxing’s greats after capturing titles at a pre-eminent eight different weight categories.

But it’s not just his athletic achievements which defy perceived consensus intellect, no, no.

It’s his mentality.

At 42-years of age, the Filipino boxing legend, family man and political Senator in his home country isn’t interested in just proving that age is nothing more than numeric in assigned value.

He wants to do it against one of the best fighters currently in the sport today.

Pound for pound.

Errol Spence Jr. is a formidable foe for anyone in or around welterweight and has bounced back quickly following a vicious car accident in recent years.

Pacquiao takes the road least trodden time and time again, and for that, he warrants our genuine approbation.

Could he pull of the impossible against Errol Spence.

Well, we’ll just have to wait and see, won’t we.

Make no mistake, Errol ‘The Truth’ Spence will be looking to prove he’s back and better than ever on August 21st.
