Manny Pacquiao Brutally Honest On His Boxing Beginnings

Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao is probably winding down his professional boxing career this year or next.

Likely.

What a whirlwind typhoon journey from the Philippines it has been whenever it ends.

His humble beginnings are well charted.

But when he really got his break in professional boxing in America at the start it wasn’t easy either for him.

He’s spoken on Twitter about all he wanted twenty years ago:

Fail to prepare then prepare to fail, as they say.

He never gave up in fairness. A great story of perseverance and picking himself up again and again.

As for his next fight, well, that’s fallen flat on its face apparently.

It was meant to be against pound for pound star Terence Crawford but it looks like it is not happening now.

Perhaps that would have been a bad match up for a boxing legend to finish on anyway.

Likely Pacquiao will box on a while.

One suspects at some stage down the road he’ll take on Conor McGregor in a boxing match.
