Gervonta Davis brutally honest ahead of first fight of 2021

After becoming the first boxer to ever knock out revered Mexican champion Leo Santa Cruz in 2020, Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis knows he has to look impressive again to keep momentum going for big fights before the end of 2021.

After some outside the ring issues Davis appears to be back focused in the gym and putting in the work:

Last October in San Antonio, Texas, Davis recorded a memorable knockout win over Santa Cruz and next faces Mario Barrios on June 26th.

The fight will be for the WBA super-lightweight world title.

Davis at this time holds a professional record of 24-0-23 KO.

He is regarded as one of the biggest punchers in the sport pound for pound and a huge talent but needs a good performance next up.

After that were he to win impressive, before the year is out, one would hope he is matched with one of the other young champions and young stars breaking through in boxing.
