Andy Ruiz Reacts To Anthony Joshua’s Bitter Claim

Anthony Joshua is an excellent champion and a good guy and all the rest of it but at the end of the day he lost that fist fight with Andy Ruiz Jr. in New York.

Fair square and square.

Also since then New York largely irrelevant as a place for boxing with Vegas, Florida and Texas taking over now.

Ruiz proved that boxing and fighting is not about looks or weight lifting and flattened Joshua that night to become the first Mexican (of descent) Heavyweight Champion of all-time.

A fact of life and legendary achievement within the sport, and for all sport.

They had a rematch which Joshua won but he looked less than impressive in it.

Ruiz came into the fight in terrible shape.

The new Ruiz back in shape you’d have to think would knock out Joshua much easier now. God only knows what Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder would do to him.

It is up to Joshua to prove he has mentally recovered from the Ruiz first loss at some point by stepping back in there with Ruiz now who is actually taking training seriously.

Joshua needs vicious knockouts to get him back in the picture and be relevant again.

Or get in there with Fury or Wilder at some point. Obviously.

Ruiz has hit back at claims from Joshua regarding their first fight here that he wasn’t himself in their first fight:

Realistically Joshua is not as relevant anymore and doesn’t do numbers in America. So, respectfully, what’s the point in talking about him anymore to be fair. Too boring now.

Only one solution. Fury fight. Simple.

Until he gets back in there with the big guys in the division, nah, fook that, that’s it for him unfortunately.

That said, hopefully news of the Fury massive showdown will be confirmed soon.

Please get on with it.
