Jermell Charlo or his brother Jermall may find themselves in the ring with pound for pound boxing star Canelo Alvarez in the near future.
For a significant time now their names have been linked with Alvarez.
Both have come a long way and like Alvarez displayed strong improvement as boxers and as professional athletes in recent years.
Alvarez won as expected this weekend over his mandatory challenger and Charlo reacted ringside by saying:

At present both boxers are on different networks making the fight difficult.
However with a willingness seemingly from all the networks to work together more, as time goes on, don’t be surprised if these two eventually fight.
Solid challenge for Canelo in terms of either Charlo.
But Jermall fighting at middleweight seems the more logical choice for now.
Alvarez must first take on Billy Joe Saunders of the UK next up on May 8th.
