Claressa Shields Makes A Promise After The Canelo Fight

Double USA Olympic Gold medalist and undefeated world professional boxing champion Claressa Shields (10-0-2KO) returns to action on Friday.

She fights on March 5th in Flint, Michigan against Marie Eve Dicaire.

The fight will be for the all four belts. All the marbles as they say.

The WBC, IBF, WBO and WBA World female super-welter titles.

A showdown to crown an undisputed champion at the weight.

Following Canelo Alvarez’ win at the weekend Shields has promised the following Friday:

Shields represents arguably the biggest name in American female boxing.

Certainly at this point.

Ireland’s Katie Taylor too of course.

There is a lot of high standard women’s boxing taking place but the biggest names delivering entertaining fights in 2021 will be key.
