Canelo Alvarez Second Fight Of 2021 Confirmed After Dismantling Yildirim

Boxing star Canelo Alvarez moved on in his career tonight.

following a quick win over his mandatory challenger in Florida.

Alvarez has been staying busy and training hard at least.

Basically as he awaits for a a fight of genuine worth later in the year.

Following his stoppage victory tonight it has now been confirmed that his next opponent will be Billy Saunders of the UK.

Saunders has always been a decent name to be linked with Canelo in terms of opponent.

No doubt the fight will get the boxing world talking.

Saunders’ boxing ability and boxing brain when he trains and puts himself in the best possible condition spiritually, mentally and physically gives him a chance in a boxing match.

Hence on the term ‘ boxing match’. Not in a gun fight with Alvarez though.

Trading leather and going toe to toe with Canelo would not be advisable.

Saunders will need to stick to his boxing purely and be razor sharp.

Even sharper than what many felt was one of his best performances of his career when he beat Irish Andy Lee.

Alvarez vs Saunders has now been confirmed for May 8th on streaming app DAZN.

The fight will be for the WBA, WBC, WBO and Ring Magazine Super-Middleweight titles.
