Tyson Fury Agrees With Frank Warren’s Idea

Lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is currently waiting on a date for his third fight with Deontay Wilder.

As things stand the heavyweight division has been on hold for some time due to obvious reasons this year.

The other belts held by Anthony Joshua will also likely be contested before the end of the year against Kubrat Pulev.

In the meantime, there has been a lot of talk about various fights.

Some of which are just talk of course.

One idea floated by Hall of Fame promoter Frank Warren from the UK is to put his guys in against rival promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport’s boxers.

It seems to have drummed up a bit of interest in the UK and furtherafield.

Fury for his part is all for it:

From a US perspective as things stand any fight involving Fury would take place on ESPN however.

Anthony Joshua is currently tied to another network in the US so it is hard to see if this fight will ever gather any legs.

The reality is that Fury vs Wilder 3 is what will happen next and Joshua vs Pulev.

The outcomes in either contest could change everything as can one punch in heavyweight boxing it should be duly noted.

While the sport’s proliferation into a very international operation has been steadfast in recent decades due to the geographically diverse nature of the boxing world, now it has become more localized in 2020.

Fights involving boxers travelling to the States have become hard for now but expect more and more action regardless in the coming months ahead.
