George Foreman Offer To Deontay Wilder After Fury Loss Goes Down Well

There’s been a lot of speculation as to what former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder might be doing with his team following his defeat to Tyson Fury last weekend.

Some suggested that his trainer Mark Breland might not be involved after throwing in the towel.

Thankfully, cooler heads appear to have prevailed with the respected former champion and coach looking like he will remain in the corner of Wilder moving forward.

Former heavyweight champion of the world and huge puncher himself George Foreman has also offered some help:

Indeed, its proved a very popular post this week.

While Foreman isn’t really offering himself as a coach here, I think there could be a lot of benefit from both a fight style and mentality point of view.

Foreman fought very similar to Wilder in some ways with the wild swinging power punching style.

He also knows what it is like to come back from a loss at the highest level in heavyweight boxing.

As the oldest heavyweight champion in history linking up with Foreman even for a week or two could be gold dust, invaluable knowledge for Wilder at this stage of the game in my opinion.
