Deontay Wilder Reacts To Tyson Fury Claim He’ll Knock Him Out In 2

The biggest heavyweight title fight in many a year is almost upon us.

On Saturday night live at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder will rematch old foe Tyson Fury in a fight that will have implications for years to come.

Part of the narrative going into Saturday’s heavyweight bonanza has surrounded Fury’s claim that he’ll take Wilder out in two.

I’m not sure anyone really expects that though in fairness.

That said, a Fury late knockout between round 7-10 if he were to totally outbox Wilder from accumulation of clean shots might not be out of the question.

Wilder has now responded to Fury’s claim with the following:

While people are quick to say Fury can’t punch I’d implore people with that mind set to think twice.

He has had a number of knockouts in his pro career.

Moreover after linking up with his new trainer he is sitting down on his punches more by all accounts this camp.

Furthermore, with his boxing ability and the fact he’s put on a lot of muscle this camp — a knockout from a man that size just can’t be ruled out.

It’s heavyweight boxing after all.

The fight will be shown live on Fox and ESPN Saturday night in a dual pay per view.
