Andy Ruiz Jr Responds To Avalanche Of Dillian Whyte Abuse

In recent days and weeks Andy Ruiz Jr, the former heavyweight champion has found himself on the end of quite a few comments from the UK’s Dillian Whyte.

The latter who still, incredibly to this day, remains waiting on a title shot for what seems an obscene amount of time now.

Perhaps one can understand Whyte’s frustration to a degree when he looks at the opportunity Ruiz got last year, twice no less against Anthony Joshua in two huge fights.

While Whyte has been forced to wait patiently in recent years for his crack at a title.

EsNews YouTube (hat tip) has pointed out the following in terms of Ruiz’ response to everything thus far:

It would appear that the offers given to Ruiz didn’t seem to be of enough for him.

Whatever the case is moving forward, expect him to be offered some big fights this year following his breakout publicity year in 2019 when he won and lost the heavyweight titles.

In fights that came totally out of left field in fairness and catapulted him into the world’s attention.

As for Whyte, expect him in the mix this year too as he continues to wait patiently for his opportunity.

With Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury set to fight for the WBC heavyweight title on February 22nd and Anthony Joshua expected to defend his three titles against Kubrat Pulev next up — all the titles remain tied up for now.

Will we see an undisputed heavyweight champion by the end of the year?

I want to say yes but with the prospect of Joshua vacating some of his belts should he win against Pulev if he doesn’t accept mandatory challengers — things could get fragmented again.

The undisputed heavyweight title fight continues to elude boxing fans for now but don’t lose hope.

Keep the faith.
