Danny Garcia Outlines 4 Possible Opponents Following Redkach Win

Philly’s Danny Garcia scored a shut out points decision on Saturday night over Ivan Redkach at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Garcia and his father Angel Garcia have long been big names in the sport but have been on a bit of a rebuilding journey in recent times following a loss to Shawn Porter back in 2018.

Garcia now finds himself back in the mix for some possibly decent fights at welterweight later in the year.

Indeed, he’ll have a pick of a few names at his own Premier Boxing Champions stable.

Speaking after his win at the weekend Garcia mentioned four in particular:

“Either or (Pacquiao or Spence). Either of those fights I would like to have. I think my style is good for either fighters, Errol Spence or Manny Pacquiao. Or even a rematch Keith Thurman or Mikey Garcia.”

All big, relevant players in boxing at the moment.

Any of those fights would be big tests and paydays for Garcia really.

If he can land any of them, that is.

The win at the weekend improved the 31-year-old’s professional boxing record to 36-2-21 KO.

Expect to see him back in the welterweight title picture sooner rather than later.

He’ll need to up his game though.

Given the fierce competition at 147 lbs at the moment.
