Ex Tyson Fury Trainer Talks Wilder vs Fury 2 and The Split With Fury

Respected young British trainer Ben Davison is no longer working with lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury professionally but the two have said they remain close friends since their recent split.

Fury has instead enlisted Sugar Hill and Andy Lee in his corner for his upcoming rematch with WBC heavyweight Deontay Wilder next month on February 22nd in Las Vegas.

Fury and Wilder formally announced the fight earlier this week at a press conference in LA and are now in deep preparations for what promises to be one of the biggest heavyweight title fights on American soil in many years.

The pair fought to a draw in December 2018.

Speaking to IFL TV YouTube (hat tip) ex Fury trainer Davison spoke about the upcoming rematch between the pair.

As well as all things Fury

Middleweight Billy Joe Saunders has confirmed in recent days that Davison has been brought back as his trainer so don’t expect to see the last of Davison anytime soon.

A young trainer who brought back Fury from the brink and achieve incredible weight loss and professional results in recent years.

Results which should not be forgotten quickly.

Saunders continues to be linked with a possible Canelo Alvarez fight so Davison could very well soon find himself being involved in a big fight again.

Sooner rather than later.
