Another installment of Premier Boxing Champions take place this weekend with former champion Jermell Charlo headlining.

Former WBC world super-welterweight champion JCharlo (31-1-15KO) fights against 31-year-old Mexican Jorge Cota (28-3-25KO).

He does so following the first loss of his professional career not long ago.

Last time out he lost to Tony Harrison via unanimous points decision at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York back in December.

He’ll be looking to bounce back in style this weekend as he bids to regain his world title and keep up with his twin brother Jermall.

Jermall Charlo (28-0-21KO) is currently WBC interim middleweight world champion.

He fights himself next week in Houston.

But back to his brother’s fight this weekend.

If he wins likely he’ll get a straight rematch shot at Tony Harrison who holds his old belt.

He was meant to take on Harrison this weekend but due to injury Cota was drafted in at late notice.
