Boxing Fans Have Their Say On Who They Want To See Danny Garcia Fight Next

Danny Garcia well and truly put himself back in the frame in the welterweight mix this past Saturday night with an impressive stoppage victory over Adrian Granados.

It was the first time Granados had been stopped in his professional career.

A fight that was shown totally for free on the same night that ESPN were charging $70 dollars for Terence Crawford vs Amir Khan.

The latter turning out to be a bit of a let down.

As for Garcia, he’s had an up and down couple of years as of late but last weekend he appeared to have the eye of the tiger back as he mounts a challenge to become a force at 147lbs once again.

He’s always had an entertaining fight style for the most part but just seems to be the type of guy who needs a big challenge in front of him to get the most out of himself and to get interested in things.

Certainly next up he has a host of options fighting in the same stable as much of the top welterweights at present.

The likes of Manny Pacquiao, Keith Thurman, Errol Spence and Shawn Porter would be all easy fights to make.

Some of the feedback from boxing fans on the subject has been interesting to put it mildly.

Speaking on Twitter here are some of the names fight fans would like to see Garcia in with next up:

Not many options if Spence Jr is facing Porter & Thurman taking on Pacquiao. With the options left let’s see Garcia vs. Crawford or Garcia vs. Ugas”

Crawford!!! and if PBC fighters continue to not fight Bud.. there is a name for them…”

“@bdill22
If he wanted to lean on PBC fighters for his career why did he re-sign to Top Rank… He coulda got all the smoke he wanted if he signed with PBC! He chose to stay across the street… Now y’all begging for him…”

“@Pcoleny
Simple he chose to be a big fish with Arum than one of PBC fighters. Now we will see how that works our Arum has to do his job. But i will point this out when have you ever seen a P4P top 1 or 2 fighter with a title and NO one is calling him out for a fight?”

At this time 31-year-old Garcia holds a professional boxing record of 35-2 (21KO).
