US Contender Makes Bold Claim About Heavyweights Using PEDs

Rising American super-welterweight contender Julian Williams (26-1-1-16KO) has come out firing verbally this week amid the heavyweight division’s continued success around the world.

Boxing’s traditional glamor division has long been in need of an injection of fresh blood and excitement and in recent years, thanks to likes of Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder emerging as the best in the world in a new era for the division post-Klitschko, heavyweight boxing is sexy once again.

Fight purses have gone through the rood amid a fresh bit of genuine excitement from casual sports fans hoping for some mega fights between the men at the top of the pile at present.

Julian Williams is hoping he can break into some of these big fights himself near his own weight, but claims much of the heavyweight division are using performance enhancing drugs at the moment:

Indeed, much of the rest of boxing’s weight classes must be looking on with envy at the moment regarding the huge fight purses that are getting offered to heavyweight boxers at the moment.

As for Williams, he next competes against Jarrett Hurd on May 11th.
