Klitschko Has Effectively Priced Himself Out Of A Comeback Fight

Wladimir Klitschko has been consistently linked with a comeback fight to the sport of boxing for quite some time now.

The school of thought is that the former undisputed champion is curious to see how he can still perform now that the division is alive and kicking once again.

A far cry from when he ruled it to be fair.

Before he retired he was defeated by younger foes in the form of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

So it’s hard to see how he would have gotten better since then at his age, whereas the two younger heavyweights named previously certainly have improved since they last fought the Ukraine boxing legend.

Now it has been widely circulated that Klitschko is asking for a whopping $100 million to have a comeback fight in boxing.

While he’s a big draw, there’s not a hope in hell someone will pay him that at this point.

His value has declined significantly since been defeated before retirement but you can’t blame him for trying.

It it perhaps reminiscent of Lennox Lewis doing something similar a few years back when he also asked for $100 million to return to the ring following his last bout against Wladimir’s brother many years ago — Vitali.
