Floyd Mayweather Makes An Unsurprising Business Move

Former pound for pound number one boxer Floyd Mayweather is finally opening up his first non-boxing gym in terms of a regular fitness gym.

For some time now Mayweather has been trying to get new franchise partners to sign up to sell his name and offer them a unique fitness routine crafted by him.

He made it public this weekend on Instagram:

Fair play, for those that have been to his gym and are familiar with his legendary work ethic, don’t expect the workout to be an easy one.

It will certainly get you fit if you go back and check out what he used to put himself through.

As for his boxing career, the 42-year-old recently claimed that he is retired and has no interest in a Manny Pacquiao rematch but only this weekend Pacquiao was pictured signing a contract with Japanese promotional company RIZIN whom Mayweather has fought for in recent months in an exhibition.

Don’t expect to hear the last from Money May in boxing just yet.

One suspects he’s planning something. That said, it could just be another boxing exhibition.

Other than that the only boxing match you could really see him coming back for is a fight with Pacquiao this year.

If it doesn’t happen this year that’s it for him though. He’s too old at this stage to come back and take on someone like Errol Spence and Terence Crawford at this stage.

Either would batter him into a bloody pulp at his age to be fair.

Time waits for no man.
