Conor McGregor Hints At Boxing Return

Irishman Conor McGregor recently announced his retirement from the sport of mixed martial arts of which he competed for the premier organization in the sport known as the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship).

Who knows how long that will last though or if he really wants to retire so young but either way, fair play to him on whatever he chooses.

He certainly made a good living for himself if he is retired so fair play.

That said, now that his close friend and training partner Artem is taking on former boxing world champion Paulie Malignaggi in a bare-knuckle boxing match next many think that if Malignaggi wins McGregor will take him on in boxing or bare knuckle bout later this year.

The pair shared an infamous spar back in 2017 before McGregor boxed Floyd Mayweather so the story line is ready made for a huge event, either way you slice or dice it.

Following a media fracas this week between Malignaggi and Artem once gets the impression that McGregor has hinted at a return to boxing and his desire to take on Malignaggi with a serious amount of new photos tweeted out of the two sparring back in 2017:

Time will tell and although it would be a bit of a freak show, freak shows sell these days in boxing and the ready made story line would ensure both guys would no doubt make a few bucks.
