Tyson Fury's Trainer Hits Back At Anthony Joshua's Belittling Of His Fighter

Heavyweight champion of the world Anthony Joshua is on the front foot at the moment and not just in the boxing ring.

You can tell he’s been patiently sitting back and listening to the various comments about him in recent times in terms of criticism received for not facing either Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder next up.

Speaking at the press conference to announce his next bout against Jarrell Miller on June 1st — Joshua at one point addressed the Fury fight specifically saying:

“Fury’s been a professional for eleven years. He’s had one good win against Klitschko and now hes a boxing God.”

Tyson Fury head trainer Ben Davison has now gotten word of the comments about his fighter.

He has responded to them on his Twitter account with the following:

“And doesn’t even show his English, British and Commonwealth titles which he was winning while Joshua was still boxing in a vest (baring in mind there only a year apart in age).”

At this time negotiations are understood to still be ongoing to stage a rematch this summer between current WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury.

Their first fight ended in a controversial draw last December in LA.
