Tyson Fury Rips American Judges For Deontay Wilder Fight

Tyson Fury changed the game dramatically yesterday when he announced his link up with the biggest sports network in the world via ESPN.

What a difference a year makes.

In a year Fury has overcome food, alcohol and drug addiction and overcome mental health problems to change the landscape of boxing last December with his dramatic fight against WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder in LA.

Speaking after his big ESPN deal and renewal of his existing deal with BT Sport in the UK, Fury spoke on the Wilder rematch and what he thought of the judges first time round.

He said:

“Deontay Wilder — great guy, top fella, good fighting man. But to me, he’s still a big useless dosser. (laughs from crowd). They had to rob me in America to get a decision. Well they never got a decision they got a draw. They’ve basically messed me record up by giving me a big old blue tick on me record. It is what it is. I can’t complain. I’m healthy and well and I’m out of trouble which is the most important things you can be in life.

Negotiations are understood to still be ongoing for the rematch.

Either way, expect news by the end of the month regarding Fury and Wilder’s next fights respectively.
