Errol Spence Chimes In On Potential Pacquiao vs Thurman Fight

Talks have frequented the boxing world in recent weeks about the prospects of a possible Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman fight up next for both boxers.

Both are on the same fight schedules roughly at least having recorded victories very recently.

All be it Pacquiao the far more impressive of the two in his win with a unanimous points decision over a fighter eleven years his junior in the form of Adrien Broner last month.

Whereas Thurman was given all he could handle in a fight he was supposed to win easily against Lopez last time out.

Indeed, many think Thurman fighting Pacquiao next could be very dangerous for the American fighter given how early he still is into a comeback to the sport following a long layoff due to injury.

When the question was posed today about boxing fanss interest in a Pacquiao vs Thurman fight — IBF welterweight king Errol Spence said the following on Twitter:

“Nobody he (Thurman) need another tune up.”

He probably does, to be fair — but what a fun fight Thurman and Pacquiao would be if it could get made.

Although a Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fight was rumored to be totally off the cards for 2019 — some people behind the scenes in boxing don’t believe it’s done just yet.

A lot will tell over the coming weeks regarding who Pacquiao will face next.

Spence for his part takes on Mikey Garcia next month in Texas in a fight that will see unbeaten sensation Garcia step up an entire two weight classes to take on IBF 147lbs champion Spence.
