Anthony Joshua Confirms His First Fight Of 2019 – Boxing World Reacts

Heavyweight champion of the world Anthony Joshua has now formally confirmed his first fight of 2019 amid ongoing speculation in recent months.

As expected, Joshua will headed to the US for the first time on June 1st to take on Jarrell Miller at Madison Square Garden.

Joshua confirmed all details himself in the following post a short time ago on Twitter:

As Joshua mentions himself above, he had April 13th at Wembley stadium booked in the UK for his next fight but because he could not get a fight with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder or challenger Dillian Whyte, he will now instead take on Jarrell Miller on June 1st at MSG in New York.

It will be Joshua’s first professional fight in the United States.

Joshua at this time holds a professional boxing record of 22-0-21KO.
