Adrien Broner Makes Big Claim About What He Could Have Done To Pacquiao’s Career

The dust has now settled on the Manny Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner fight in boxing’s first big pay per view of 2019 but as always in the sport of boxing attention has now turned to what’s next for the victor in the fight.

Pacquiao won the bout comfortably in the end via unanimous points decision at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas but after the fight it was reported that he suffered what could have been a very damaging injury to his eye.

Speaking to TMZ, Broner claims that he may have ended Pacquiao’s boxing career entirely after what he said could have been a ‘detached retina’ suffered to PacMan on the night.

It’s unclear at this time if this is the case however.

One would have thought if such a damaging injury was suffered in the contest that news of it would have been confirmed by team Pacquiao by now.

Earlier today the Manilla Times reported that Pacquiao turned down a rematch with Australian Jeff Horn whom he lost his WBO welterweight title to a couple of years back.

It is thought that the two front runners for Pacquiao’s next fight are Keith Thurman or possibly even a rematch with Floyd Mayweather later in the year.
