Teofimo Lopez Brutally Honest To Broner About Pacquiao Fight

Undefeated lightweight Teofimo Lopez (11-0-9KO) has been making big waves in the sport recently with his exciting and explosive fight style.

He’s also a big fight fan and keeps abreast of all the latest action on his side of the pond.

Following the recent Manny Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner fight that took place in Las Vegas — Lopez believes Broner is still gun shy from fights of the past where he was dropped and knocked down in.

Speaking to Fight Hype, Lopez said:

“(Broner was) Surviving and moving side to side? Adrien Broner, what he was doing at the end was surviving. He didn’t want to look bad. I told you. He doesn’t want to get dropped in front of so many people. He’s discouraged.”

He added:

“This could be the coaches’ fault. Why do always tell a guy you’re doing good, just throw the jab, when he comes in just duck? Stop being motivational and start dissecting what’s going on in the fight.”

21 year old Lopez returns to action this weekend against Diego Magdaleno in Frisco, Texas.
