The Ruthless Left Hand That Shakur Stevenson Moved To 10-0 With

US Olympic silver medallist Shakur Stevenson continued to impress in his last outing on Friday in Verona as he knocked out Jessie Cris Rosales in some pretty ruthless fashion.

The unbeaten featherweight prospect continued to prove why he is so highly touted as a future world champion at the moment by stamping his authority on the contest right from the get go and proceeded to drop his opponent in round four.

Here’s the moment that everything came to an end that allowed the Top Rank promoted unbeaten sensation to progress his career further:

Hugely impressive again, in fairness.

The above saw him improve his professional record to 10-0 (6KO) and now places him in line for some step up fights later this year.

Going on how fast Top Rank have brought along talented Olympic boxers in recent years, I wouldn’t be surprised if Stevenson is knocking at the door for a world title shot by the end of the year.

Plenty of competition out there exists for him across the pond in the form of Josh Warrington, Carl Frampton, Lee Selby and many others.

Of course, in his own stable there’s also the budding rivalry with Ireland’s Mick Conlan but one suspects a match between the two will be built up to be much bigger down the line.
