Recently Filipino boxing star Manny ‘PacMan’ Pacquiao announced his decision to join forces with boxing manager and adviser Al Haymon as part of Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions series earlier this year.
The first fight of the new deal takes place on January 19th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas against Adrien Broner live on Showtime pay per view.
One man who knows Pacquiao’s new business partner Haymon better than most is Sam Watson.
A long time personal friend of Haymon, Watson always appears to be in a good mood and in good form.
Speaking to EsNews on the fight, he said:
“I know for a fact Adrien Broner is getting in the shape of his life. Manny Pacquiao is a bad man. I’ve seen Manny Pacquiao whoop a lot of people. I can’t wait for that fight. Adrien is going to be ready there won’t be no almost ready at weight-wise at 147lbs. Manny Pacquiao is always ready so it’s going to be a great fight.”
The bout will be shown on free television for those in the UK live on ITV 4.
