Andre Ward Bang On The Money In Reaction To Fury vs Wilder Draw

The boxing world has been up in arms since last night’s WBC heavyweight title fight in LA but if you’re looking for some brutal honesty and a nugget of wisdom on how the boxing business typically works, former pound for pound number one fighter Andre Ward has potentially called it.

Where things go from here nobody knows mind you.

Last night’s draw will live long into the memory of boxing fans as being another bad spot of judging.

Particularly the Mexican judge who had Wilder by four and winning the first six rounds.

What he was watching remains a mystery and his actions could seriously jeopardise the State of California ever landing such a big fight or opportunity  again consequently.

Nevada and New York will be quietly happy about that, no doubt.

Indeed, if I were a betting man, which I was another life, Vegas is probably where a potential rematch would happen next year.

Andre Ward thinks it probably won’t happen though:

What a fight that would be as an alternative.

Despite what people say (and are probably right) about Hearn senior and junior (Barry and Eddie) not wanting to put their man in with Fury, make no mistake — Joshua would take the fight in a heartbeat.

Like Fury, Joshua is also a fighting man and when they do collide what a war it’s going to be down the road.
