Disgruntled Mayweather Promotions fighter Gervonta Davis could soon find himself on his way to a new promoter and network judging by this.

It has been well documented the sheer level of general unhappiness Davis has had with his current promotional company and it’s head honcho Floyd Mayweather.

Davis has consistently let this known in the media and on his social media for some time now. Well, he might have got his wish.

Almost.

According to Michael Benson, Behind The Gloves have reported that a big offer has come from Eddie Hearn and streaming giant DAZN:

? Eddie Hearn revealed he has now made a new, “huge offer” to Mayweather Promotions for a co-promotional agreement to get Gervonta Davis active, fighting on DAZN. They turned it down and Davis has spent the days since Tweeting: “#FreeTank.” [@BehindTheGloves]

It would appear Davis is trying everything he possibly can to get free from Mayweather and his promotional company.

Sad in a way, considering the partnership showed so much promise not long ago with Davis at one time the youngest world champion in boxing.

An incredible talent going to waste at the moment – far too young a fighter to not be boxing regularly.

The public deserve to see a fighter of this calibre showcasing his skills at least three times a year or more.
