Carl Froch Narrates In Ring Video Of Spot He Knocked Groves Out In Wembley Stadium

Carl Froch was on pundit duty this weekend for the Anthony Joshua vs Alexander Povetkin fight at Wembley and has been taking a trip down memory lane.

Froch famously (as he never lets anyone forget) knocked out George Groves in their world super-middleweight title fight a few years back at Wembley stadium in front of 80,000 fans.

It was the first major stadium fight of its kind in the modern era of boxing we are currently in.

In many ways, it opened the door for the likes of Anthony Joshua to do similar stadium bonanzas in the UK boxing scene these past few years.

While Froch was getting ready for his punditry role to work the fight this weekend for Sky Sports he released this video of himself walking around in the ring and going over the Groves rematch again in his head:

Good old Froch.

To Groves’ credit however, he’s bounced back in amazing fashion in recent years and finally became the world champion on his fourth attempt of trying.

A testament to his incredible resolve and will.

Now, this coming Saturday, he finds himself in the final of the World Boxing Super Series against Callum Smith to win the Muhammad Ali trophy.
