A man who has faced both Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao has been stunned by news that the two have said they are set to rematch in December.

A rumored location for the part two is thought to be Japan but as of yet, despite the fighters themselves saying the fight will happen on social media, no solid announcement confirming date, venue and network / platform has come yet.

The school of thought however is that it is going to happen.

Although, two leading names in Mexican boxing think it won’t.

Speaking to EsNews, Marquez said:

“I don’t believe that. I don’t believe that? Yeah?!”

Mikey Garcia also added:

“No I don’t (believe it will happen).”

I think until people hear about a signed contract and actually see the two in the ring the above won’t be a particularly uncommon opinion of the whole debacle.

Many within boxing have lashed out and criticized the move but the reality is there is enough casual sports and boxing fans that will buy it to make both Mayweather and Pacquiao go ahead and do it again once suspects.
