Mayweather Makes Sensational Claim About Pacquiao Rematch – ‘Pacman’ Reacts

Mayweather Makes Sensational Claim About Pacquiao Rematch

Floyd Mayweather has made a remarkable statement to Manny Pacquiao about fighting him again after the two came face to face in Japan.

The two men were attending a concert in Japan when they just happened to bump into one another.

You get the feeling that this might have been planned.

But if it was, Mayweather wouldn’t go all the way to Japan unless he was seriously thinking about fighting Pacquiao again.

Speaking to Pacquiao in person, face to face, Mayweather said:

“I’m coming back to fight Manny Pacquiao this year. Another nine-figure pay-day on the way.”

He then proceeded to say again:

“I’m going to be back in December.”

To which Pacquiao said to him:

“I have belt!”

Mayweather smiled and replied:

“I don’t want to hear about your shoulder been hurt.”

Pacquiao was referring to the WBA ‘Regular’ belt he won earlier this year against Lucas Matthysse. Mayweather was referring to the shoulder injury Pacquia cited after their fight back in 2015.

At the time the fight between the two became the biggest fight in boxing history financially. Would people pay to see a second one?

The fact both are still big names would probably do a couple of million pay per views in itself, in reality.
