Spike Promises Knockout Of David Lemieux

Spike Promises Knockout Of David Lemieux

Saturday night in Vegas could deliver not one, but two middleweight wars at the T-Mobile Arena. Irishman ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan is looking to put on a show in the other notable 160lbs bout of the evening.

Supporting the Golovkin vs Canelo rematch is always going to carry a lot of pressure for both O’Sullivan and David Lemieux on Saturday night – but both men are established fighters at this stage.

They’ve been on the pro circuit for many a year at this point and from O’Sullivan’s perspective, he is intent on making his long road to get here pay with a big win this weekend.

Speaking ahead of the fight O’Sullivan said:

“It means a great deal for me. It took me eight years to get here. I’m more ready than I’ve ever been before. He’s going to be cooked. He’s very one-dimensional. He does the same thing over and over again. He says the same stuff over and over again. I’m going to teach him a lesson on Saturday night. I’m a very hard worker, I’ve been a hard worker my whole life. I fight like a Mexican.Watch out David, you’re getting knocked out.”

Saturday’s fight night in Vegas will be live on HBO pay per view in the US and on BT Sports Box Office in the UK.
