Mike Tyson On Who’s The Best Heavyweight In Boxing Right Now

Mike Tyson to this day is still the youngest ever heavyweight champion in boxing but is still a keen fan of the sport himself. It’s the young generation of champions coming through at the moment that keeps his interest in boxing.

Mike Tyson has always been a student of the sweet science.

Going back to his young days in the Catskills of New York under the guidance of Cus D’Amato, Tyson was renowned for watching hours upon hours of tape of legendary fighters.

In today’s heavyweight division the names of Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury appear to be the three leading names of their particular era, with the latter two set to fight before the year is out.

Speaking to Seconds Out, Tyson believes that Joshua is the man to beat at the moment:

Joshua faces Alexander Povetkin next month on September 22nd at Wembley stadium in London, England in a dangerous bout that if he wins, sets up a mega fight with Wilder or Fury next year.

The fight will be shown live on DAZN for US fight fans and it will be a Sky pay-per-view event for those in the UK.
