Bob Arum Reveals Feedback From Pacquiao Meeting In The Philippines

Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank appears to be the front runner for Manny Pacquiao’s next promoter as ‘Pacman’ looks poised to re-sign with Arum.

Recently we wrote on here about how sometimes sticking with what or who you know can be beneficial.

Sometimes.

It appears the promoter Manny Pacquiao knows best in the US, Bob Arum, whom has worked with Pacquiao for well over a decade, is talking like he’s about to re-sign the Filipino boxing legend.

Recently Arum traveled to see Pacquiao in The Philippines to discuss a proposal.

Speaking to EsNews Arum said:

“I hope so, I hope so (that we’ll see Pacquiao fight again).”

He added:

“I don’t think so (that he’ll box in the US next). We’re looking to get spots outside the United States where he can fight.”

It has been reported by Lance Pugmire of the LA Times that Pacquiao intends to box next on December 2nd later this year.

No opponent, or promoter is officially confirmed at this point however.

If he resigns with Arum there is a whole host of Top Rank fighters whom he could be matched with.

In theory.
