Fury out pointed his foe tonight over ten rounds to set up a crack at the WBC heavyweight champion of the world Deontay Wilder next up.
Fury did what he needed to do tonight. What he was expected to do in truth.
Could he have gone for the knockout? Probably.
But not long ago he was out of the ring for just under 1000 days and he needed the rounds tonight. \
One got the feeling he knew this and it factored into his game plan tonight.

After the fight, Fury said in his post-fight ring interview:
“I think it was a calculated boxing performance as promised. Got a good 10 rounds in against a tough man. He was quite durable. I was very happy with the performance.”
He added:
“I thought that was a step up of opponent and that was a better display (than against Sefer Seferi).”
Fury and Wilder is expected to be formally announced this coming Monday at a press conference in London at BT Tower, according to reports.
Expect a world tour between the two fighters over the coming weeks and months ahead of what looks like a fight in either Las Vegas or New York in either late November or early December.
