Mikey Garcia is being lined up for a possible two weight jump to take on Errol Spence in a pay per view event on Showtime before the end of the year – but he’s got a lot to consider at the moment.

Garcia must be one of the most sought after fighters on the US boxing scene at the moment.

He’s currently awaiting an offer from promoter Eddie Hearn to potentially fight on new streaming giant DAZN.

Not long ago he was also pursued by Dana White of the UFC.

However White’s foray into boxing seems to be on hold at this point.

Another fight linked with Garcia is one against legendary Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao.

A guy on the rise against an established name in the sport looking to plan his exit after 2019, the fight could represent the traditional young lion vs the old lion story line in boxing.

The passing of the torch as it were.
