Rigondeaux Breaks His Silence – Set To Return After Lomachenko Loss

For the first time in some time since the destructive loss at the hands of Vasyl Lomachenko, Cuban boxing maestro has spoken and intimated his intent to continue boxing.

The fight earlier this year was billed as one of the best matchups of pure skill in recent memory in the sweet science.

What transcended however was a one way hammering with Lomachenko swinging the hammer, placing him as pound for pound best boxer in the world in the eyes of many after wards.

In the run up to the fight Rigondeaux was very vocal on social media but after the bout he vanished completely, very rarely heard from.

Until now.

According to journalist Michael Benson of Talk Sport, the Cuban boxer plans a return soon:

Staying active in his pro career has often been a challenge for ‘Rigo’ who has struggled to land big fights at times.

If he can get a run of three or four fights over the next year perhaps he can regain a world title once again before he hangs up the gloves.
