Lennox Lewis and Vitali Klitschko Set For Exhibition Fight

Lennox Lewis and Vitali Klitschko

The two former heavyweight champions of the world are set to meet in the ring once again, years on after their battle for the title.

15 years on from their fight in 2003 where Lennox Lewis won their fight by TKO after Klitschko suffered a horrendous cut – the pair will face off again.

Both now retired, Klitschko is the mayor of Kyiv these days in his home country of Ukraine and Lewis is happily retired and involved in a number of business ventures.

It has been reported that the pair will box as part of the 56th WBC Congress which will take place between September 30th and October 5th in Kyiv.

The event will feature over 700 boxers from past and present from all around the world.

While not a competitive bout, this will no doubt draw a lot of interest and intrigue from fans who recall their legendary fight in 2003.

A savage encounter that saw some ferocious uppercuts and hooks landed on both sides.

A fight that many felt should have been let carry on for another few rounds before the time of stoppage.
