Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao is looking lean and mean in the gym ahead of next month’s world title fight but away from it he appears to be very happy and content outside the ring. An ominous sign for his opponent perhaps.
Pacquiao will step in the ring with a genuine knockout puncher next month in Argentina’s Lucas Matthysse but will be spurred on by his family and countrymen as always.
Speaking on Instagram this week, Pacquiao posted a picture with all of his family saying:
“Family is everything.”
Indeed it is.
Pacquiao has looked much better in the gym from training footage so far compared to his showing against Jeff Horn last year where he lost his title.
It will be interesting to see indeed not only what Pacquiao turns up, but what Matthysse turns up too in their WBA welterweight title clash on July 15th.
Stylistically the two possess come forward, all action fight games.
It should be fireworks in Malaysia for as long as it lasts.
Two warriors perhaps out of their primes at this stage but still two men that possess enough knockout power to trouble most welterweights out there.
