Jim Grey was the leading non participant inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame this weekend and was part of another stellar list this year.
Grey joined boxers Vitali Klitschko, Ronald ‘Winky’ Wright, Erik Morales and Steve Albert into the 2018 class.
It’s always a tough list for the powers that be to decide upon every year.
Given the level of difficulty it is to get into the Hall of Fame in the first place.
Many great world champions have still to be inducted into the selective list.
Such is the competitive selection process and limited amount of inductees that can be selected every year.
The boxing stars were out in force to support all the inductees in what proved to be another hit event in New York.
Here is some of the reaction and comments to this year’s induction:
Great career. The only issue I have was the question to Pete Rose.

All in all another great year for the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
Attention now turns to who will be considered for the 2019 class.
