Frank Warren Blasts Eddie Hearn For Making Whyte vs Parker A Pay Per View

Rival promoters Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn are at it again in the media – this time over the latest pay per view boxing event made in the UK.

During the week it was announced that former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker would next face Dillian Whyte on July 28th at the 02 Arena in London.

It was also confirmed that in the UK the fight will be made on pay per view.

A decision that appears to have evoked a mixed response from fans.

Rival promoter of Eddie Hearn, Frank Warren, told The Sportsman:

“I don;t know how they’ve got the cheek to do it, but then again it’s up to them. Do you think it’s a pay per view fight? I wouldn’t pay 99p to watch it. It’s not a pay per view fight. It’s a good fight. It’s not pay per view. I wouldn’t pay to watch it.”

Warren was speaking ahead of tonight’s massive show in Manchester that sees Tyson Fury make his long-awaited return to the ring when he faces Sefer Seferi at the Manchester Arena.
