Carl Frampton Lawyer Makes Statement Following Court Ruling In McGuigan Case

Former world champion Carl Frampton and his former mentor Barry McGuigan who parted company professionally last year are currently in the middle of a legal dispute.

The pair worked successfully together for a large part of Frampton’s professional career that saw him become champion of the world.

However a decision to stop working together was made last year.

Today, Frampton’s lawyer issued the following statement in the latest ruling in Frampton and McGuigan’s case:

Frampton’s last fight in the ring came against Nonito Donaire back in April where he won by unanimous points decision in Belfast.

Frampton is now tabbed to fight at Windsor Park this coming August August 18th in his dream stadium fight against an opponent to be confirmed.

Carl Frampton currently has a professional boxing record of 25-1-14KO.

Frampton during his professional career has become a two-weight world champion and is now pursuing another shot at the title as his career moves into the mature stages.

That said, at the age of 31, Frampton has plenty of fights left if he so chooses.
